It is a quick and easy way to meet for our initial conversation and when a short meeting is needed to answer questions or make clarifications.

The holidays are just weeks away. Is your dining room ready? For many of us, the dining room is rarely used, it becomes a store room for things we don’t know what to do with. Dining rooms are generally located near the front of the home and give our guests one of their first impressions of who we are and how we live. Their impression doesn’t need to be a negative one.
This dining room was dated and lacked atmosphere. The homeowner wanted a change and called us in for some needed interior design. The patterned wall covering competed for attention with the rest of the room. We specified a beautiful shimmery gold faux finish for the walls that adds interest and atmosphere to the room. This finish is especially lovely in candlelight. The crown molding raises the eye while the chair rail breaks up a solid wall and adds just enough detail to the walls. The carpet was replaced with a beautiful warm toned wood floor. Lack of storage was also a problem. The charming corner hutch did not have enough storage for china, linens, and treasured collectables. The addition of a beautiful lighted hutch gives the homeowner enough display area for her glassware and collectibles with covered storage below. The new table and chairs allows seating for eight at a moments notice before adding a leaf for a larger group.
The addition of drapery panels to the room adds color, softness and just the right amount of pattern to maintain an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. The chic color palette allows the addition of coordinating accessories and tableware to continue the flow of color throughout the room.
This dining room is now ready for the many memorable moments in the years to come from birthdays, holidays and relaxing dinners with friends and family.

Yes, window treatments give warmth, creativity and a finishing touch to a room that nothing else can. We will discuss your window orientation, function, style and color preferences. A rendering of your window treatment will be completed, followed by adding color and pattern preferences. When the rendering is complete, you will know what your new window treatment will look like before it is ordered. If you would like to see an example, we will be happy to email you one at your request.

Will a custom space plan be available?

Yes! First we will measure your space and the furniture you would like to keep. A detailed floor plan will be created for you that
maximizes the space and fulfills your requirements. We will offer more than one option, some plans will use the same pieces so you have the option making changes seasonally. After your plan is completed, you will have an understanding of your new space and we can be very efficient in our selections.

How long does it take to complete the average project?

The amount of time needed depends on the size of the design project, itʼs complexity, and the number of services required. Since furnishings
and window treatments are custom ordered, the purchasing and installation process usually takes 3-4 months. It is not uncommon for a project to take 6 to 8 months from concept to completion.
How do you charge for your services?

Our initial complimentary meeting will be via phone, iChat or Skype. We will use this time to get acquainted and to determine your needs and desires for your project. Consultation is available on an hourly basis. For most projects, a design fee is determined that is based on the scope of the project. Purchasing, delivery, and installation are also available as a separate service.
